"Manchester City - the first piece of clothing I ever wore was a Manchester City kit, so I just had to be a blue. I'm also up for a bit of the Town now and again, Macclesfield Town that is.

"France, 1998. It's just so iconic. Winning the World Cup in their own backyard, with Zidane dominating the entire tournament. Unfiltered footballing filth,"
Favourite pie and beer combo?
"Meat and Potato and a Stella. Simple but tasty."
Favourite ground in the UK?
"The spiritual home of English football, Wembley Stadium. You know that any matches being played there are going to be huge occasions, and there's nothing better than a big game under the lights."
Favourite foreign ground?
"There's something special about walking around the great arena which is the Camp Nou - a cauldron of 90,000 plus voices. Real Madrid's isn't too bad either."
